Billboard and Vibe came together to create the 50 Greatest Rappers of all-time list, with Jay-Z taking the top spot. Previously, multi-platinum artist Ja Rule reacted to being left of the list, and now Bow Wow has given his thoughts on being excluded from the list.
Bow Wow took to Twitter to answer questions from fans, and one of the questions posed to the rapper and actor was, “is bow wow a top 50 rapper?” The rapper responded, “I took no offense not making that list. I always said I’m not a rapper I am an entertainer. I don’t like to be box’d in.”
Another tweet found the artist posting screenshots of his accolades, including being among rappers with the most number-one singles. “Aye, I ain’t make the top 50 either. I’d rather take what’s ‘REAL’ [than] for a fake maf**ka in an office to give they opinion on who top 50,” said the rapper. Take a look above.
