Houston-based rapper Yung Corleon (aka Aryion Jackson) has been sentenced to 27 years in prison for his role in orchestrating a sex trafficking ring that featured twelve women, including a 15-year-old captive named Kristen Galvan, who is currently missing. Tuesday's ruling by a federal judge comes on the heels of Yung Corleon's guilty plea of sex trafficking minors with forced fraud and coercion. The 24-year-old reportedly ran his illegal business through a house in Houston, where he beat and drugged the women to inspire their compliance and worth ethic. Yung Corleon allegedly forced the victims to earn him $1,000 a day.

The justification behind Yung Corleon's 27-year sentence has been a topic of controversy in the Houston area as many locals pushed for the defendant to get life behind bars rather than the bare minimum for the abovementioned crime.
