Gervonta Davis holds a Championship title in three different weight classes, and just like his mentor, Floyd Mayweather, he's undefeated as a professional boxer. The biggest fight of his career, against Ryan Garcia, is on the horizon as April quickly approaches. Regardless of the outcome of this super fight, Gervonta Davis will find himself in a courtroom because he plead guilty to a hit-and-run charge on Thursday. The incident occurred in November of 2020, when Gervonta ran a red light and crashed his Lamborghini into a 2004 Toyota Solara, causing bodily harm to a pregnant woman and three other people.

During Thursday's proceedings, Baltimore Circuit Court Judge Althea M. Handy assured the WBA/IBF champion that his guilty plea did not mean that he was going to be granted leniency at the upcoming sentencing hearing on May 5th.
