From highly publicized feuds with fellow R&B singers like Raz B and Frank Ocean to his old spats with Drake, when Chris Brown beefs with someone, things tend to escalate fast. Case and point, the recent back-and-forth between Chris Brown and Kiely Williams online has ignited a firestorm of gossip amongst fans and media outlets alike. When the 3LW member outlined Chris Brown's past regarding a battery incident with Rihanna nearly eight years ago to this day, the Grammy-award-winning performer fired back by indicating that she was unemployed and irrelevant. Although Chris Brown's commentary was more specific, Kiely's personal attack seemed to strike a nerve with the "King of R&B," who followed his rebuttal with a set of stories on Instagram that encompassed a group of White celebrities who have also been deemed the assailants in previous battery/assault incidents with their partners such as Charlie Sheen, Steven Segal, Nicolas Cage, Sean Penn, Tommy Lee, and the legendary "Prince of Darkness" Ozzy Osborne.

While the long list of stars that Chris Brown displayed to his followers does bring awareness to an interesting point, none of the victims involved were as famous or beloved as Rihanna, which may have been why he has been far more villainized than the names he mentioned. Either way, it's been nearly a decade since a teenage Chris Brown made one of the most costly mistakes of his career. Although he has tried to move on from his past mistake, it appears as though there will always remain a fraction of the public that will be skeptical about his sincerity.
