According to reports, New Orleans Saints star player Alvin Kamara was indicted by a Clark County grand jury in relation to a felony battery charge, and a conspiracy to commit battery charge. The charges stem from a 2022 incident that went down at the Cromwell Hotel and Casino after Kamara and alleged victim Darnell Greene got into a heated argument on an elevator outside Drai’s nightclub.

It was noted Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Chris Lammons and two others were indicted as well for an alleged role in the beatdown.

According to KLAS-TV, Darnell Greene reportedly filed a civil lawsuit in Louisiana and asked for $10 million in damages. The indictment of Kamara means the case will move past a Las Vegas Justice Court and go to the district court. Kamara’s next court date will be on March 2, 2023. Stay tuned for more updates.

New Orleans Saints star running back Alvin Kamara was caught on video violently punching a man in an altercation that took place earlier this year. However, those close to the situation say the video doesn't capture how Kamara's victim was actually the first to become violent.

The altercation occurred at The Cromwell Hotel and Casino on Feb 5 of this year. The incident happened after Kamara and Darnell Greene were engaged in a heated argument on an elevator outside the popular Drai's nightclub.

For those that remember, Kamara was arrested at the 2022 Pro Bowl in connection to the altercation and charged with felony battery resulting in substantial bodily harm and misdemeanor conspiracy to commit battery.
