In this clip, Nicholas Irving reveals that the most money that he ever made while working as a special operations sniper in the 3rd Ranger Battalion for the U.S. Army was around $35,000. He estimated that he was making less than minimum wage. In response, Shawn Prez reminds Nicholas that there are guys out there making way more money in to kill people in the streets. Nicholas agrees before explaining that the low pay eventually led him to join the "private" military, where he made over $100,000 per year.
