Previously, it was revealed that 50 Cent was suing The Shade Room along with Perfection Plastic Surgery after they implied the rapper received penile enhancement surgery from the MedSpa. 50’s legal team said, “By publishing the article and falsely stating or implying that Jackson had received plastic surgery procedures from Kogan or MedSpa, or the penile enhancement or other procedures described in the article, TSR committed a clear act of defamation.” Now, reports surfaced noting The Shade Room has settled out of court with 50 Cent in relation to their part in the suit.
Meghann Cuniff of Los Angeles Magazine revealed a portion of the paperwork for the settlement, with 50 and the social media brand reaching “an agreement to settle.” The document said, “Jackson and TSR are in the process of executing their respective obligations pursuant to the agreement and will file a Notice of Dismissal with Prejudice of Defendant The Shade Room LLC shortly thereafter.”
While The Shade Room and 50 are settling, it was noted all other defendants in the suit will remain. As of now, a trial for 50’s suit against Angela Kogan and Perfection Plastic Surgery & MedSpa will begin on July 3, 2023.
