Boxing fans have begun salivating as the showdown between Gervonta "Tank" Davis and Ryan Garcia is officially set for April 22 in Las Vegas.
Davis made the announcement on Friday via Twitter after months of both sides ironing out the details for the megafight. Both sides initially targeted April 15 but decided to push it back one week to afford them more time to promote.
While the fight is scheduled to happen in Las Vegas, the venue has yet to be determined with the MGM Grand Garden Arena and the T-Mobile Arena being the two main possibilities while promoters are also exploring the option of hosting the fight at Allegiant Stadium.
The 12-round, non-title fight will be at a catch weight of 136 pounds.
