Maino went viral after footage of him choking a YouTuber surfaced. The YouTuber—Buba100x asked Maino, “How badly do you think I can beat your a**?” Because of that, the rapper was seen putting hands on Buba. Since then, Maino was asked about the situation and referred to it as a “prank.”
While speaking to Angela Yee on her ‘Way Up With Angela Yee’ show, Maino was asked to speak about the now-viral video. Maino noted he was at a fashion show when the incident happened. “It was all part of the prank. It was fake,” said Maino.
From there, Yee explained what she saw, which caused Maino to say “I wanted to make it look real.” When asked if it was a stunt, Maino said, “It was all for fun and games.” Maino clarified that the situation was only “to make it look real.” Watch above.
