Previously, it was reported that sentencing for Tory Lanez in the Megan Thee Stallion shooting trial was rescheduled for late February, with his legal team seeking to get a new trial. Along with that, a gag order that stopped Tory Lanez from speaking about the Megan Thee Stallion trial was lifted.

Los Angeles Magazine reporter Meghann Cuniff took to Twitter to deliver an update, revealing Lanez’s new date for sentencing. “Tory Lanez’s new sentencing date is April 10,” said Cuniff. The reporter continued, “Judge Herriford also lifted the gag order that restricted him from commenting on the case or victim Megan Thee Stallion.”

News of this comes after Lanez was expected to see a judge for sentencing in January. However, the rapper’s plan to appeal caused a few setbacks on the timeline. Stay tuned for more updates.
