In this clip, R&B/Soul legend Angie Stone talks about her legacy singer with 40 years of experience before reflecting back on her time in the all-female rap trio called The Sequence. She talks about the group's influence on hip-hop and the fact that they are often overlooked. She also explains the origin of her rap name back then, Angie B. From there, she explains why Clive Davis at Arista Records prevented her involvement in the rap genre in order to focus her attention solely on singing.
