On Thursday, a jury in Washington State found Lil Mosey (aka Lathan Moses Stanley Echols) not guilty in a rape case stemming from allegations by his female accuser he had sex with her after she passed out during a party in the city of Randle. The second-degree rape charge also included Lil Mosey's associate, Joshua Darrow. If Lil Mosey had been convicted, he could have faced a life sentence in prison. At the conclusion of the 10-day trial, Lil Mosey's defense attorney said the following.

"Mosey maintained his innocence from the start and has now been cleared of all charges," said Shane O’Rourke. "He voluntarily submitted to two lie detector tests and passed each of them prior to trial. The prosecutors were unwilling to accept the evidence of his innocence after two years of investigation and proof. Mosey has been completely vindicated and didn’t deserve to ever be prosecuted."
