Mike Epps recently ran into some issues while at the Indianapolis Airport after authorities said they found a loaded gun in the comedian and actor’s bag while he was in the facility.
Legal documents that surfaced say police responded to a firearms investigation this past Sunday at the airport, where the TSA claimed they found the weapon in Epps’ bag while he was making his way through a checkpoint.
According to the report, Epps said he was in town for a comedy show and forgot he had the weapon in his bag. Police said the weapon they found was a .38 Special Airweight with four rounds in it. As a result, they took the weapon into evidence. Epps wasn’t arrested, but the police report was given to the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office to see if they should proceed with charges.
