According to reports, a third person has passed away as a result of injuries sustained in a stampede during a GloRilla and Finesse2Tymes concert in Rochester, New York.
It was revealed that 35-year-old Aisha Stephens was the only person who stayed in the hospital after being injured as a result of the stampede at the Rochester Main Street Armory. The woman died on Wednesday night (March 8) according to AP.
According to police, two women—Rhondesia Belton and Brandy Miller both passed away, while 9 others were injured. Because of the latest death from the incident, Rochester refused to renew the Armory’s entertainment license, according to Deputy Corporation Counsel Partick Beath. Police are currently investigating the situation, and fire and code enforcement authorities are reviewing videos and photos from the concert along with inspecting the building. One person is dead, and 9 others were injured after a stampede at a Glorilla and Finesse2Tymes concert in Rochester, New York on Sunday (March 5) night.
According to reports, people at the venue were stampeding toward the exit after fearing that a shooting was taking place, which led to the deadly incident. However, Rochester police Lt. Nicholas Adams revealed that police found "no evidence to support a shooting having occurred" inside the venue.
Names have not been released, but it was revealed that a 33-year-old woman died and two other women were in critical condition. Glorilla responded to the news, writing on her Twitter, "I’m just now hearing about what happened wtf praying everybody is ok."
