Recently, it was revealed that Snoop Dogg was reissuing the entire Death Row Records catalog under a $1 billion deal with a new music startup launched by former Apple Music Global Creative Director Larry Jackson called gamma.
Snoop recently took to Twitter and posted a screenshot of Death Row’s catalog on Apple Music, saying, “We are live @deathrowmusic on @AppleMusic.” While many have celebrated the music being back on streaming, Kxng Crooked reacted to Snoop’s revelation with news of his own.
Crooked said, “I see the DysFunktional Family soundtrack I’m owed six figures for hmmm.” The comment from Kxng Crooked found fans and supporters questioning the comment, causing him to face backlash.
News of this comes after former Death Row Records producer and artist DJ Quik spoke on his time at the label in the past.
