Bronx Drill rapper Nas EBK was arrested in connection to a shooting in Times Square in February 2023, which left one person dead. Now, the rapper has taken to social media to proclaim his innocence.
Via Instagram, Nas EBK posted a photo saying “INNOCENT,” along with the caption: “ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE ME !!! BE HOME SOON!! FREE DA GUYS!!”
As of now, the 19-year-old rapper has been charged with second-degree murder. Stay tuned for more updates.

According to reports, Bronx drill rapper Nas EBK has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in Times Square last month.
Nas EBK, real name Nasir Valenzuela, 19, was picked up in New Jersey and transferred to Manhattan in connection to the murder of 22-year-old Idressa Siby.
Authorities say Valenzuela allegedly got into an argument with Siby in Times Square on Feb. 9 escalating to the point that Valenzuela shot Siby on the right side of his chest. Siby attempted to flee but later collapsed in front of a Chick-fil-A. First responders tried reviving Siby who was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Per AMNY: "Police sources say that Valenzuela, who is said to be a drill rapper, and Siby were known to each other and that Siby was the intended target."
Valenzuela has been formally charged with murder in the second degree.
