Footage surfaced of a crew of teenagers in the Bronx fleeing with a large number of calculators totaling over $40,000 in nine heists across high schools in the borough.
Police say the heists went on for over a month, and the teenagers are believed to be ages 15 through 18. The teens reportedly hit schools in Morrisania, Charlotte Gardens, and the Melrose area.
The footage of one of their heists at Morris High School, where two teens broke into the school through a second-floor window. While they didn’t get anything that time, they smashed multiple windows. One of the heists found a pair of teens using a brick to break a window at Mott Haven Village Prep High School. The two then got into two locked rooms and made away with a bunch of calculators amounting to $13,920, according to authorities.
As of now, police haven’t made any arrests in the case. Watch above.
