Two years after the "Godfather of Drill," Chief Keef put Chicago's homegrown subgenre of hip-hop on the map; another fresh-faced emcee would do the same in Brooklyn by adding a new twist to the popular music category. "Hot N*gga" by Bobby Shmurda became an instant classic from the moment it was released in 2014. The official music video remains one of the most watched in the history of drill as it inches closer to one billion views. Bobby Shmurda's raw and charismatic on-screen performance inspired two separate Latino versions of "Hot N*gga" and a remake by French Montana and Rowdy Rebel. His signature gyrating and wiggling spurred a new dance that would become known by hip-hop fans as the "Shmoney." However, a clip from an old music video by Michael Jackson called "You Rock My World," suggests that the "King of Pop" and his co-star in the project, Chris Tucker, originated the choreography nearly a decade and a half before Bobby.
