Last week, disturbing video footage of a trio of teens dragging and beating a victim with high-functioning autism went viral. The video depicted a 15-year-old boy with a noticeable disability trying to escape his assailants before the inevitable beating took place in an NYC Subway located at West 181st Street and Fort Washington Avenue around 5:30 pm on a Friday night. According to reports, all three suspects have been recognized by law enforcement. Thus far, a 14-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the incident, while detectives are still gathering information about his two co-assailants, including the young female who could be seen dragging the victim in the video
As of now, there are still conflicting reports regarding the events leading up to the altercation. However, the victim's mother, who has opted to conceal her identity, recently shared her thoughts on the highly controversial occurrence involving her child.
"I refuse to watch that video," the victim's mom said. "Nobody wants to see their kid being assaulted."

Subways in the City of New York have become an infamous setting for a myriad of criminal incidents such as good samaritans getting stabbed, sexual assaults, racially motivated assaults, brawls, and highly bizarre occurrences such as the ill-famed group of female assailants who once donned fluorescent green bodysuits before robbing two teens. One of the latest unethical acts to be captured on camera depicts a group of teens marching an autistic kid around the subway platform as if they were trying to humiliate him before beating him up while yelling racial slurs at him such as "N***er Alert."
