In this clip, Young Chris recalls Jay-Z's big announcement that he was leaving Roc-A-Fella Records to accept the position of President at Def Jam. He says that Jay-Z made the revelation to him, Freeway, Memphis Bleek, and some others while they were all on tour. He also shares that the writing was on the wall because there had been serious friction between Jay-Z and Dame Dash. The Philadelphia native also shares that Dame Dash had encouraged him to go solo around that time. Lastly, he reveals what his relationship with Dame is like today.
