In this clip, Roland Martin detailed his path to CNN. Using Jim Jones' request for a Dipset vs. The Lox rematch as an example, Martin stressed the importance of always being ready and on your game because you never know who's watching. Martin added that Dipset should have been ready to bring "the heat" whether they were "in a phone booth or Madison Square Garden." The famed journalist also talked about establishing relationships and explained how professional connections had benefitted him throughout his career.
