Ja Morant recently spoke about his journey in his first interview since rejoining the Memphis Grizzlies following a suspension for flashing a gun on Instagram. Morant was asked about alcohol and denied having issues with liquor, saying, “Never had an alcohol problem. I didn't go there for alcohol. I went there for counseling. To learn how to manage stress and cope with stress in a positive way, instead of ways how I tried to deal with it before that caused me to make mistakes.”
Since then, Morant has taken to Instagram to speak about changing his path after the incident.
Morant posted photos of him ahead of a game while he listened to music. In the post's caption, the NBA star said, “I just overcame sum [s**t] & man i’m feelin so better .. & iann trippin bout a thing because I noticed i’m special 🌟.” Take a look above.
