In this clip, Johnny Chang revisits catching his first case for robbery and kidnapping at the age of twelve. The former Wah Ching gang member details how he and a group of four kidnapped a drug dealer. He then explains why he was sentenced to four years in juvenile hall. From there, he talks about being behind bars as one of the few Asian kids in a place full of Blacks and Latinos. As the discussion moves along, Johnny states why his first time behind bars was so traumatizing and humiliating before sharing the responsibility he felt to represent for his race while he was there.
