Amid Soulja Boy going viral after responding to people choosing between $250,000 or dinner with him, we take a look back at our 2019 interview with the famed rapper. He started off speaking about growing up in Atlanta as a teen, which is where he began rapping, and Soulja Boy added that he started recording when he moved in with his dad in Mississippi. When asked how he blew up, Soulja Boy explained that the was getting popular on a music downloading site called Sound Click, where he was getting 20,000 downloads a day.
