In this clip, Roland Martin talked about how different forms of criticism of former President Obama were leveled and how some criticism was warranted while others less so. Roland spoke specifically about Dr. Cornel West’s critique of Obama and how it came across as “petty” due to the personal nature of West’s pushback. He also talked about his own criticism of Obama, why he admired him for being the first black president but never lost sight of him still being the 44th president, and the system he presided over.
