In what appears will be an everlasting debate, Tyga is the latest celebrity to weigh in on the greatest rappers of all time.
He started off last Thursday (March 23) writing, "Lil Wayne & Eminem are the best rappers of all time! Lyrical word play , delivery, flow ,pockets, originality , raw, intentional , clarity, generational influence." On Wednesday (March 29), he added, "Nicki is the best female rapper of all time no one comes close! World play , punchlines , delivery, pockets , beat selection, creativity. Inflictions." Tyga ended his string of tweets by stating that "Doja is a really good rapper too.."
Tyga and Nicki came up around the same time on Lil Wayne's Young Money label, and they have collaborated on a host of songs. Tyga also has several songs with Wayne, including "Faded," Birdman's "Loyalty," and Chris Brown's "Loyal."
During his interview with Zane Lowe, Lil Wayne reacted to Billboard's list of the 50 greatest rappers, where he took the number 7 spot. Wayne didn't see the list before Zane broke it down, and he stated, "Man, who the hell is before me? Was the list including all Hip Hop, like before and after as well? I can deal with that. I will tell you that I am a motherf***ing one. Everybody whose names you named, they also know I’m number one. Go ask them. They know what it is."
