Part 1: Yung Joc on Troy Ave Taking Stand Against Taxstone, Rap Upholding the "Wrong Morals"

In this clip, Shawn Prez started off speaking to Yung Joc about the three men being found guilty in the murder case of rapper XXXTentacion, and a fourth man involved in the crime testifying against the three men. Shawn Prez added that the man who testified revealed that he told the other three that they should abort the robbery because he looked into a camera at the motorcycle shop where XXXTentacion was at. Yung Joc stated that he doesn’t blame the guy who warned the others for telling his story, and Joc added that no one is coming up off of these types of situations. Yung Joc went on to add that the guy will be labeled a snitch because he got the accomplices “to the point of no return.” From there, Yung Joc pointed out that the streets will listen to the person who took the “savage route over the person who took the scholastic route.” He explained that when kids think about the possibility of doing time, they see it as “earning their stripes.” Yung Joc also spoke about how hip-hop music is like a “manual,” but he added that it’s tearing down the community.
