In this clip, Consequence reflects back on growing up in New York during the 80s and 90s when the crack epidemic was at its height and hip-hop was becoming a mainstay in pop culture. From there, he talks about spending a good portion of his childhood in the St. Albans neighborhood of Queens and San Diego, California. As the conversation moves along, he explains many of his uncles were bank robbers before talking about the influence that had on his choice to turn to the street life.
