In this clip, Jake "The Snake" Roberts talks about his lack of a relationship with his late father, a former pro wrestler known as Grizzly Smith. Jake "The Snake" reveals that despite the fact that Grizzly Smith was a deadbeat dad, he wanted to make him proud. So, upon becoming the first person from his family to graduate from high school, he tried his hand at professional wrestling before losing the match and being told by his father that he was ashamed of him. From there, he talks about getting married at the age of eighteen and working his way up the independent wrestling circuit from the South all the way up to Canada.
