The LSU women’s basketball team recently gained a massive win over Virginia Tech in the Final Four. Following that, Lil Wayne hopped on the phone to chat with Angel Reese. The rapper congratulated the player and her team for making it to the national championship before Reese asked if he was pulling up for the next game. Wayne immediately responded by saying his attendance was a given, confirming he was pulling up while talking with LSU’s head coach Kim Mulkey.
News of this comes after Angel Reese called out Wayne after the ‘A Milli’ rapper congratulated their opponent Miami instead of them. While speaking to Diana Taurasi, Wayne said, “I got in trouble from the Bayou Barbie. She let me know… I got checked. Bayou Barbie checked me. It’s all good.” While speaking to the press, Reese said, “I told him that wasn't cool what he did because he's from NOLA, so I was like, ‘that's disrespect.’”
