In this clip, Joe Torry looks back on co-starring in the 1993 film "Poetic Justice" with 2Pac, before revealing that John Singleton originally wanted Ice Cube for the leading role of Lucky. This prompts Joe to state his belief that 2Pac is greatest rapper-turned-actor in a film of all-time. To that, DJ Vlad offers pushback by mentioning that Will Smith recently earned an Oscar for his role in "King Richard." In response, Joe says that Will Smith has basically played himself in everything accept for "Ali." As the discussion moves along, DJ Vlad shares that E.D.I. from the Outlawz told him that 2Pac was originally offered the leading role in "Independence Day." From there, he recalls 2Pac's questionable decision to get the famous "Thug Life" tattoo on his stomach for his 21st birthday, before "Poetic Justice" officially wrapped.
