In this clip, Terrance Roberts reflects back on the truce of 1992 between the Bloods and Crips that originated in Los Angeles before explaining why the LA natives were unsuccessful in bringing the treaty to Denver. From there, he talks about the violent Summer of the following year. From there, he details some of his previous injuries, bullet wounds and scars before discussing a prison stint that followed. Moving along, he talks about seeing Martin Luther King Jr.'s speech, "I've Been to the Mountaintop," on PBS and the positive impact that it had on his life.
