A Texas high school student was captured on video punching his teacher in the face after his cell phone was confiscated.
The video picks up with the students and teacher arguing over the phone before the Lamar High School student throws a haymaker which lands flush on the teacher's jaw. The video abruptly cuts off, but not before the student is seen following up his haymaker with another combination of punches.
Following the circulation of the video, the Lamar High School principal issued a statement which read, in part, "Administrators will be looking into the cause of the altercation and continue to evaluate ways to prevent these occurrences in the future."
