Previously, it was reported that New York rapper Frenchie was facing 25 years after allegedly robbing the wrong home in New York. The botched robbery found the rapper trying to take $100,000 worth of marijuana, with the rapper and accomplices telling victims in the home to lie down while they looked for items in the house. During the home invasion, one of the accomplices reportedly pistol-whipped an autistic teen who was on the ground. Now, it has been reported that Waka Flocka’s cousin has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for the failed robbery.

Charges against Frenchie include one count of second-degree burglary and three counts of first-degree burglary.

Suffolk County District Attorney Ray Tierney said, “The pistol-whipping of an innocent autistic young man in a failed home invasion is among the most outrageous crimes we have prosecuted. Hopefully, this defendant’s conviction and significant prison sentence provides the victims with some sense of relief and security.”

Frenchie’s attorney Anthony Scheller went on to hint that the rapper will more than likely appeal the decision. As of now, Frenchie will also serve five years of post-prison supervision following his release. Stay tuned for more updates.
