According to reports, the incident stems from a verbal altercation with the shooter and his accomplice, who fled the scene and remain at large. Alo Bandz, was a recording artist best known throughout the San Diego area for his hit single "All Facts." After being shot in the chest multiple times, the 24-year-old was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead around 3:00 pm.
While the San Diego Police Department continues pursuing the two unidentified perpetrators, the family of Alo Bandz also struggles to find answers for the senseless act of violence that resulted in the rapper losing his life nearly one year after his brother passed away.
“As of(Sunday), we’ve mourned the loss of our nephew Eduardo, I feel very bad for his parents, said the victim's Aunt. "I feel very bad for his dad. It’s been one year since they lost their other son, (Monday), it’s their other son Eduardo. I feel so bad for them, all of the aunts, cousins, nephews, all of us feel terrible for the loss of Eduardo...We knew him as Lalo, we are very sad.”
A candlelight vigil was held for Alo Bandz on Monday; the detectives from the San Diego Police Department are still in the process of gathering information from the eyewitness.
