Things continued to get heated between Timberwolves teammates Kyle Anderson and Rudy Gobert after Anderson was punched in the chest by Gobert during the Minnesota Timberwolves' game against the New Orleans Pelicans.

Before Gobert was sent home over the incident, he and Anderson exchanged words in the locker room. In a now-viral leaked audio, Anderson can be heard saying, "Y’all kiss his a** way too much. Wanna tell me? The f**k is wrong with y’all. Y'all got some decisions to make this summer."

Sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski that things escalated between the players after Anderson told Gobert to block some shots, and Gobert told Anderson to grab a rebound. Things escalated after Anderson told Gobert to "Shut the f*** up, b*tch."

After the game, Gobert tweeted, "Emotions got the best of me today. I should not have reacted the way i did regardless of what was said. I wanna apologize to the fans, the organisation and particularly to Kyle, who is someone that i truly love and respect as a teammate."
