According to reports, a Virginia-based rapper named EGYPXN recently shot his mother, sister (21), and little brother (12) upon forcing entry into their home in the city of Richmond. Shortly after the shooting, the three victims were transported to the VCU Medical Center Main Hospital, where they were treated for life-threatening injuries. The tragic domestic incident was followed by a manhunt for EGYPXN after he was identified by law enforcement as the suspect. The citywide search culminated in a shootout between EGYPXN and the police officers who tried to arrest him. In the end, one cop was severely injured by a gunshot wound, and EGYPXN was killed after they returned fire. In a sad twist of irony, EGYPXN pre-scheduled the release of his last music video, "Be Free," for the afternoon of his death.
