In this clip, James Worthy talked about his upbringing in Queens and how connected he was to the music industry at an early age. James recalled landing a publishing deal with Sony at 16 and developing a close friendship with Bobby Brown Jr., and getting to work on music with Whitney Houston. He also talked about the family being torn apart due to drugs and how Bobby Brown Jr.’s passing, in particular, affected him. Later on, James Worthy talked about producing his first track for Yung Berg (now Hitmaka) after randomly sending him an email containing beats he worked on. James then detailed how Kurupt introduced him to Big Gipp and how they forged a working relationship afterward.
