Shaq recently came to the defense of LSU star basketball player Angel Reese after former ESPN commentator Keith Olbermann called Reese a “f*****g idiot.” Since then, while on ‘The Big Podcast,’ Shaq spoke about Reese, saying, “She's probably the greatest athlete ever to come out of LSU sports. ... Male and female.” Now, LSU alum and athlete Lolo Jones has reacted to Shaq’s statement, saying the former NBA star is bored.
“Shaq knew what he was doing. Shaq's just bored. He's coming off hip surgery. He's chilling at home. I think Shaq, honestly, is high on some pain medicines. The list is so big with LSU,” said Jones while talking to TMZ Sports. The bobsledder then referred to Shaq’s comments as “water cooler talk” before saying, “So, for Shaq to have the audacity to say 'she's the best ever,' I’m like, 'Bro, chill on the pain meds,' because that list is arduous. So long.”
Jones clarified that she wasn’t dissing Reese, saying, “We're not hating on Angel. We love to see it. She's cooking. Let her keep cooking. But I'm telling you, LSU track and field is the powerhouse for that university.” Watch above.
