As the talk moves along, Brian talks about his adaptability in the drug game during his heyday before revealing that many of his principles back then were inspired by the advice bestowed upon him by his father, who he often visited in jail.
Later, Brian "Peanut" Brown looks back on his early success as a drug dealer and the unwanted attention that it attracted from some of the locals in his neighborhood. The former drug lord explains an incident that occurred after he was baited into blurting out how much money he had and where he kept it during the heat of a pick-up basketball game.
