Gilbert Arenas was the most recent guest on the "I Am Athlete" podcast, where he compared his NBA career and Steph Curry's at the age of 25. Gilbert explained, "I got hurt at 25. If you stop me at 25. Steph ain’t f***ing with me."
Arenas later clarified, "Because you have to stop him at 25. There’s no three championships. … So when people hear it, they’re going to be like what — 25, there’s no three championships. There’s only a one-time All-Star, I’m a three-time All-Star, three-time All-NBA player by the age of 25. There’s not a lot of us at that age."
Gilbert went on to state that only him and Allen Iverson were at the same level at 25, and he stated that if you're comparing all-time careers, he thinks he's not in the same class as Steph Curry. You can hear it in full above.
