In this clip, Vlad started off speaking to Tony Lewis Sr. about hearing that he was guilty in his federal trial, and he admitted that he thought his life was over. Tony went on to state that he also thought about his 9-year-old son and what was going to happen to him, and he then spoke about being sentenced to life without parole at just 26. He stated that it’s the worst feeling on earth to hear that you’re going to die a “slow death” in prison, and Tony admitted that it was “scary.” Tony went on to speak about telling young people in the streets that his cell is open and waiting on them, and he stated that it’s not worth taking the risk in the streets. Vlad then spoke about Tony’s son saying that he saw his father cry for the first time while visiting him in jail the day he was sentenced. Tony explained that he was overwhelmed with the life sentence and thinking about not being around for his son. Vlad then pointed out that Tony was transferred to California after being sentenced, which led to Tony speaking about being at Quantico Marine Base before then, which he said was worse than solitary.
