In light of Suge Knight speaking about the nature of Death Row records, we take a look back at our interview with Mob James, who spoke about getting in a with with some Rams players during his Death Row days. This led to Vlad speaking to Mob James about people regularly being beaten up at Death Row, and Mob James revealed that Suge would backhand people he’d pass in the hallway if he was having a bad day. While Mob James declined to name artists who Suge beat on, he did state that Kurupt was one of the “most solid” people he saw at the label.
