In this clip, Vlad started off asking Abel and Ola Osundairo about when they started getting interested in acting, and Abel explained that he started acting as a kid at school. Abel added that after college, he got his first role in “Chiraq” after being hand chosen by Spike Lee. Ola went on to speak about becoming interested in acting in college, and he revealed that he and his brother started a “chair dance” group. Abel then spoke about getting a role as a stand-in for Jussie Smollett’s lover on “Empire,” and he revealed that he met Jussie around 2017 through a mutual friend. From there, Abel revealed that Jussie helped him get his stand-in role on “Empire,” and he added that he and Jussie also worked out together in the gym. Vlad then asked Abel about police saying that Jussie used to hit him up for drugs at one point, and Abel explained that Jussie used Venmo to pay him.
