Actor and comedian Joe Torry sat down for his first-ever VladTV interview, and he started off speaking about his three-decade-long career, and he went on to detail being a military kid that moved around a lot. Joe then spoke about being the middle of six kids, and after detailing his upbringing, Joe went on to reveal how he got into stand-up comedy.

After moving to L.A., Joe revealed that he linked up with Robin Harris, who became a good friend, and Joe also spoke about Mike Tyson coming and interacting with them at the Comedy Act Theater. Joe then explained how Robin inspired him in the comedy world, and he went on to detail learning about Robin’s untimely death. From there, Joe spoke about making his way through the comedy world and getting movie roles, starting with “House Party,” which is a role that he got with the help of Robin Harris.

Joe then detailed getting a starring role in “Poetic Justice” with 2Pac, Regina Hall, and Janet Jackson, which led to Joe speaking about his friendship with 2Pac. Vlad and Joe then spoke about 2Pac’s death, and Joe went on to later speak about his involvement in the “All Eyez on Me” movie.
