In this clip, Reggie Wright Jr. started off speaking about being at Kelly Park, which Reggie explained is where Eazy-E grew up, and he added that it was also the site of “Bloody Sunday.” Former LA County Sheriff Frederick Reynolds started off giving details about the incident, which took place on April 2, 1989. Reynolds explained that one subset of Crips, the Santana Block Crips, was in a war with the Kelly Park Crips and Atlantic Drive Crips, who were at Kelly Park that day. At one point, a shooting took place, which led to an innocent woman being killed in front of three kids in her car, along with a Kelly Park Crip. Reynolds then spoke about getting tips about the shooters, which led to a case being opened. Reggie Wright Sr. then started detailing the investigation of the incident, including a Santana Block Crip that he had a good relationship with that gave him information. Reggie also revealed that another innocent bystander in the park was shot that day, and Reynolds went on to speak about only one suspect being arrested and charged in the incident. He then added that one of the Crips was left blind for life after being shot in the head, and Reynolds revealed that the lone suspect is on death row for the shooting.
