Last week, a man named Abdi Wasuge allegedly tried to rob an Apple Store at the Willow Grove Mall in Pennsylvania by pretending to pay for two MacBook Pro laptops and an iPhone 14 before making a run for it. A bystander impeded his progress, forcing Wasuge to drop the all of stolen goods. In a desperate attempt to exit the mall, the suspect tried to lower himself from the second floor upon stepping over the railing. Unfortunately, he lost his grip and crashed down to the first floor, rupturing his tailbone and pelvis. The on-camera incident has since gone viral, and it is currently under investigation.
Shortly after the incident, Wasuge was transported to the hospital for his injuries. He is now facing multiple charges, including harassment, terroristic threats, and simple assault.
