Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia were going back and forth for months about their fight, with both fighters constantly taunting one another. Many questioned whether Davis would go the distance with Garcia, who was physically bigger than Tank. However, Tank ultimately got the best of Garcia in the 7th round of their fight, with Tank delivering a blow that resulted in a TKO.
The non-title fight found Davis knocking down Garcia in the second round with a quick shot to his opponent's head. Garcia was hanging in the fight, though, until the 7th round. The body shot from Davis didn’t immediately take out Garcia, but the delayed reaction found Garcia taking a knee, shaking his head with a bloody nose.
While speaking about the bout-ending blow, Davis said, “I didn’t think that body shot would end it, but I saw his facial expression and that’s what made me take it to him.” Watch above.
