Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia faced off in a non-title boxing match, and Davis ultimately got the best of Garcia, getting a TKO in the 7th round of the fight. Drake, an avid sports better, reportedly came up after placing a massive bet on the Baltimore boxer.
Drake took to social media and revealed that he dropped $1 million on Davis to win, saying, “Tank day aka payday.” The payout for the rapper amounted to $1,380,000.
Following the fight, Tank heard about the bet by Drake and said, “Tell him I need half of that! It’s pretty cool to have people like that believe in me. It made me push even harder, so shoutout to Drake and the rest of the people that back me. This is only the beginning for me, I have a bright future, and I’m staying humble through it all.
