Following his TKO loss to Gervonta Davis, Ryan Garcia took to Instagram to claim that he had a mole in his camp that was giving Davis' team information before their fight on Sunday (April 23).
Garcia wrote on his Instagram Stories, "Actually sad I had a mole in my camp. Like wtf thats crazy but thank God it’s brought to light now." He then clarified, "Also Didn’t mean for that to come off as an excuse or anything. I lost period. I’ll come back but I’m just shocked that part of my team crossed me someone close to me. Unbelievable. But it’s a testimony that you must be aware of anyone."
After the fight, Garcia spoke to the press about taking a knee after Davis delivered a blow to his liver. Garcia explained, "I just couldn't recover. Snuck under me and caught me good. I was going to get back up, but I just couldn't get up."
